The MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe offers you a wide range of delay effects. The pleasant sound of the original Carbon Copy forms the basis for this Deluxe, but the delay time has been increased to a whopping 1.2 seconds thanks to the use of eight so-called bucket brigade chips. A bright switch is also present. With the push of a button, this will conjure up the sound of the Carbon Copy Bright for sparkling bright repeats.

Where the regular Carbon Copy had internal trimpots to adjust the modulation of the repeats, the Carbon Copy Deluxe offers this control simply on the front panel. A tap tempo function has also been added. This lets you tap in your tempo nicely with your foot, instead of standing around endlessly turning a controller. There is also a tap divide functionality with different note lengths.
