The M82 Bass Envelope Filter is an effects pedal for the fattest funk effects. This extensively adjustable groovy, organic sound is made possible by real old-fashioned analog circuitry. Thanks to separate knobs for Dry and Effect, you can also create the ultimate mix of direct signal and effect, so that you can create every conceivable funk sound without losing the low end.
The M82 Bass Envelope Filter is switched on using the footswitch. When this true bypass pedal is off, nothing is taken away from the clarity of your clean bass signal. Use the Q knob to adjust the intensity of the filter effect and then adjust the sensitivity so that the effect responds pleasantly to your attack. Use the M82's decay knob to select the decay stop frequency. MXR packed all this functionality into a very durable and compact stompbox.
