The Neumann KH 810 II active subwoofer was developed for immersive-format monitoring, among other things, and is the true all-rounder. Capable of bass management up to 7.1.4, this compact subwoofer is equipped with a long-throw 10-inch driver, a powerful amplifier and a robust enclosure. Perfect for mid-sized control rooms and post-production mix environments.

The KH 810 II delivers highly accurate low-end reproduction with high SPL and impressive bass extension. This makes it a reliable choice for professional projects where precision and control are essential.

Tip: for studios wishing to integrate their monitoring system into an AoIP network, a version with built-in AES67 interface is also available, the KH 810 II AES67.

Next Generation Subwoofer
The KH 810 II builds on its predecessor with improved acoustic performance and new features. Thanks to a specially designed long-throw 10-inch woofer with Extremely Linear Force Factor (ELFFâ„¢) technology and intelligent protection limiters, it delivers extremely low distortion, even at maximum SPL. In addition, the KH 810 II produces about twice the output of the KH 750 DSP, and its frequency range extends to 16 Hz. This makes it the ideal complement to monitors such as the Neumann KH 150 and KH 310.
The DSP drive ensures optimum performance and integration with MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment (sold separately). In combination with analog Neumann monitors such as the KH 310 or KH 420, the KH 810 II provides enough DSP power to align a full stereo, surround or immersive system up to 7.1.4. For systems with both analog and DSP monitors, MA 1 with Multichannel Extension allows phase and frequency optimization of the entire system. This makes the KH 810 II much more than just a subwoofer: it is an upgrade tool that lifts existing setups to immersive audio.

Frequency Range and Control
Modern film and multichannel music productions often place high demands on a monitoring system, especially when it comes to dynamic range and bass reproduction. Subwoofers are therefore indispensable for reproducing this kind of material with extreme precision and stability. Designed with high headroom, the Neumann KH 810 II effortlessly delivers LFE information up to 16 Hz. Combined with near- and midfield monitors such as the Neumann KH 150 and KH 310, it creates a powerful system that can reproduce immersive audio formats such as Dolby Atmos fully and in detail without any compression.

Ready for Immersive Audio
The KH 810 II offers the same acoustic performance as the KH 805 II, but adds extensive multichannel bass management (up to 7.1.4). This makes this model ideal for surround and immersive production environments. The KH 810 II perfectly complements mid-sized KH monitors such as the KH 150 and KH 310 and is also the ideal choice for expanding existing systems to surround or immersive audio formats.

High performance and seamless integration
The KH 810 II features a robust wooden cabinet with excellent self-damping properties and rubber feet for acoustic isolation. The resonance-free cabinet with efficient bass reflex construction guarantees tight low-end reproduction without audible port noise. A metal grille protects the driver from mechanical damage.

In terms of connections, the KH 810 II is wide-ranging: two analog XLR inputs and outputs for stereo, plus four Sub-D25 connectors (Tascam standard) for a total of 12 analog inputs and 11 analog outputs in multichannel setups. Digital connections are possible via AES3 and up to 7 BNC outputs for multichannel applications. For network integration, there is the AES67 variant.

The amplifier of the KH 810 II combines high headroom with energy efficiency and features extensive protection: soft clip, excursion limiters, separate thermal protection and intelligent protection logic. The standby function reduces power consumption when the subwoofer is not in use, and can be switched off via the MA 1 app.

About Neumann: a leader in studio microphones and monitors
Since its founding in 1928 by Georg Neumann, the brand has established a lasting reputation as a standard in the professional audio world.
