The KH 870 is truly a powerhouse first class with the unmatched audio quality we've come to expect from Neumans KH monitors. The flexibility of the bypassable 7.1 bass manager means it is also compatible with all standard consumer formats, from mono to the latest 7.1 HD systems.

Eight analog channels provide flexible connectivity for modern studios. Four-mode LFE channel processing ensures compatibility across all formats and industries. Forth-order crossovers and flexible acoustic controls ensure seamless system integration. Built-in volume control and a hardware remote control provide seamless system control independent of the source. From mono to 3D, the KH 870 has a place in all applications.

All about the bass

The latest amplifier technology and acoustic components have been used to ensure the most accurate sound reproduction possible. Robust drivers, a rock-solid cabinet and carefully designed ports guarantee tight, clear and distortion-free reproduction of low frequencies even at high playback levels. Plane Wave Bass Array™ (PWBA™) techniques acoustically improve lateral consistency in the listening area. Bass reaches as high as 18 Hz.

FLEXIBLE MOUNTING OPTIONS

Designed to complement Neumann's extensive range of monitors, the KH 870 subwoofer can be used alone, or in series to create larger systems with higher SPL. The KH 870 can be used in music, broadcast and post-production studios for tracking, mixing and mastering. The cabinet can be placed next to a wall or mounted flush in a wall thanks to its front port, and can be freely mixed in multi-channel systems with other loudspeakers from the Neumann range.
