The Neumann MC 8 is a component of the Miniature Clip Mic (MCM) system. It is a magnetic clip used to mount the SH 150 MCM gooseneck in or on a grand piano or piano. The gooseneck is attached to the clip via a holder that can rotate along one or two axes and can be locked in 45° increments to prevent twisting of the cable and allow accurate and reliable positioning of the microphone above the instrument.
