The Radial Bassbone V2 bass preamp and DI offers two independent channels for comprehensive tone shaping of your bass. Each channel features a powerful EQ section, its own level setting and gain boost for solos. On stage, a modern bass sound often requires more flexibility than one bass and a single-channel amp can provide. With the Bassbone V2's two-channel setup, you can work with two basses, such as electric and acoustic models, dual-output instruments or any combination you like, without any problem. If you prefer to use one bass, simply switch between the two channels with the footswitch for two distinctly different sounds. You don't have to compromise your sound for convenience; with the Radial Bassbone V2, you get a convincing bass tone for both studio and stage.
General
The Radial Bassbone V2 is the second generation of the well-known Bassbone bass preamp. Many professional bassists appreciate this pedal for its control and sound quality. Compared to the original Bassbone, this V2 version has been refined and expanded in several ways to better suit contemporary playing and stage situations.
Features of the Bassbone V2
This preamp is equipped with two instrument inputs, each equipped with an equalizer and a high pass filter. A push button allows you to quickly switch between the two channels or inputs. The built-in effects loop allows you to use external effects and mix them with the original bass signal via the wet/dry control. The boost function gives the signal extra power, ideal for solos or accents. The mute switch completely silences the signal without annoying background noise. Input B is equipped with a special PZB booster and thus suitable for double basses or other instruments with a piezo element. In addition, a separate tuner output is provided for a tuning device.
