The Emperor SMT Clear is a pre-damped bass drum head featuring Sub Muffl Technology. The head is constructed from two layers of transparent Mylar—7-mil and 5-mil—and features an external dampening system with free-floating acoustic foam. This construction delivers a powerful attack, a full and deep bass response, and controlled high and midrange tones, while preserving the natural sound of the bass drum. Thanks to its wide tuning range and versatile tonal characteristics, the Emperor SMT Clear is an excellent choice for both live performances and studio recordings.
