The Roland MH2-8 PowerPly Mesh Head 8 inch mesh sheet is a double layer mesh sheet and is very sturdy. This MH2 series is the second generation of mesh heads from Roland. They are suitable for, among others, the V-Pads from the V-drums drum kits, but can also be used for acoustic drum kits, so you can also place this sheet on a regular 8 inch tom
Mesh heads make less noise and are therefore very suitable for practicing. Also, the mesh heads can be used in combination with the RT drum triggers and thus use your acoustic set as an electronic set. The MH2 Mesh Heads are mounted in the same way as a standard, regular drum head, so you can determine the tension of the sheet yourself
