The Marcus Miller Z3 5-string bass guitar is Sire nod to the past to the stinging sound of the late 1970s, capturing the gritty, aggressive bite of an all-time low-end classic: The Stingray!
Starting with a lightweight mahogany body in a well-balanced Z-Bass shape, the Z3 packs loads of vintage-inspired details, including an egg-shaped pickguard, swooping control plate, oversized bridge-position humbucker, and rock-solid Standard MM bridge. The hard maple neck’s “C” profile offers a fast, speedy, and supremely comfortable feel. Meanwhile, the matching hard maple fingerboard’s Edgeless treatment, 12-inch radius, and 22 medium-jumbo frets form a fitting foundation for all manner of players.
