The Apollo 2 features two highly sensitive ribbon elements arranged in an X-Y Blumlein configuration. This arrangement delivers an exceptionally accurate three-dimensional stereo image that fully captures both the acoustics of the room and the source itself. Every detail is captured with natural balance and realistic placement in the stereo field. This stereo ribbon microphone is ideally suited for stereo recording, orchestral and choral overheads, ensembles and capturing ambience and room character.
