Strymon Riverside

With the Riverside a super versatile overdrive channel to any (tube)amp. In the broadest sense of the principle, because Strymon has developed the Riverside in such a way that it can be matched with any amplifier and covers the entire spectrum of gain. So whether you want to add a bit of mild and crispy dirt or a fat distortion, with the Riverside you can create it all. And so; a "multi-stage overdrive" that you will use as a full-fledged channel of your amp.

To get started setting the right sound, you might want to start with the mini toggle switches by choosing either low or high gain, the amount of mid push and -located on the back of the pedal- presence. From there on you can fully customize the Riverside through the familiar but very powerful 3-band EQ (bass, middle, treble), gain and level controls. Simple, but very effective

And Strymon wouldn't be Strymon if this pedal didn't also have a couple of cool additional features. To start with the "favorite" switch; this is actually a pre-set for your favorite sound, which can be activated separate from the "on" position. And so you have not one but two overdrive sounds at your disposal with the Riverside!
In addition, this pedal has a boost and noise reduction function as secondary features on board. The boost is independently switchable on and off through the (optional) additional mini switch from Strymon. Finally, there is the possibility to assign an expression pedal to any of the potentiometers, so you can work super dynamically with this already very versatile pre-amp.
