Tascam LM-8ST

Whether you're creating a stereo mix for a PA rig or optimizing the sound in a restaurant or party room, the Tascam LM-8ST 8-channel stereo line mixer makes it easy to control everything. This line mixer features eight stereo channels, each with two TRS inputs and a -10/+4 dB level switch.

At the front of the 1HE rack format is an XLR microphone input for public address or announcements, with a separate trim pot to fine-tune the level. Each channel has two volume controls that allow you to assign the signal to two independent stereo buses. You can use these two stereo buses to send out two separate mixes, or send selected channels to an effects chain for further processing. The Tascam LM-8ST is an uncluttered and effective solution for mixing multiple line-level sources.

Flexible routing with two stereo buses
The Tascam LM-8ST is equipped with two independent stereo buses, allowing you to easily create two separate mixes. Each bus features balanced XLR outputs as well as unbalanced RCA outputs, giving you flexibility in connecting various equipment. On the front of the mixer you will find two master volumes per channel - one for each bus - with which you can determine per channel how much signal goes to which bus. This makes it possible, for example, to create a dry main mix via the ST 1 bus, while via the ST 2/AUX bus you send one or more channels through to an effects chain for additional processing. The LM-8ST thus provides a smart and convenient solution for situations where you need multiple mixes or an effect loop.
