Fully flexible inputs and outputs for any setup
The Tascam MZ-123BT was designed with maximum flexibility in mind and adapts effortlessly to the needs of your venue. For the inputs, you can choose between two unbalanced RCA jacks or fixed wiring via euroblock connectors. In addition, two microphone inputs with phantom power are available: one directly accessible on the front panel, the second via a euroblock connector on the rear. For outputs, the MZ-123BT features three euroblock outputs, allowing you to send the audio signal in stereo or mono to different zones in your venue. Audio playback is via a 3.5mm AUX input or wirelessly via Bluetooth, so you can easily use audio from an MP3 player, smartphone or computer.

Automatic volume reduction for speech
The Tascam MZ-123BT stands out with a convenient automatic ducking feature. This automatically reduces the volume of background music as soon as a microphone is used for an announcement. On the rear panel, you easily set the threshold and duration of this talkover function. As soon as you use a microphone, the background music automatically dims so your message is clearly audible to everyone in the room. This feature is ideal for busy cafes and restaurants where people frequently call over, and contributes to a professional and audible sound environment.

Easy controls for quick and clear audio routing
The front panel of the Tascam MZ-123BT is clearly and intuitively designed, allowing you to assign audio to different zones without fuss. Each mic and channel can be sent to a specific output at the touch of a button. Want to send Mic 2 only to the kitchen staff? No problem. Mic 1 and channel 2 to the restaurant area? You arrange that in a snap. Both mic inputs are equipped with a 3-band EQ, allowing you to optimally adjust the sound to the acoustics of the room. In addition, each channel output can be monitored separately via the 6.35 mm headphone output on the front of the mixer. This way, you always keep control over what can be heard in each zone.
