Why use gold and silver connectors?
Precious metals are not only beautiful, some have properties that are beneficial for signal transmission. Although the actual audio transmission of gold and silver connectors is about the same (without context, silver is actually slightly better in that regard), we put gold connectors in our Premier line primarily because gold offers more corrosion resistance than other precious metals.
