Why use gold and silver connectors?
Precious metals are not only beautiful, some have properties that are beneficial to signal transmission. Although the actual audio transmission of gold and silver connectors is about the same (without context, silver is actually slightly better in that regard), we put gold connectors in our Premier line mainly because gold offers more corrosion resistance than other precious metals. But trust us, both Premier and Pro sound great, which is to say that these cables do not color the actual audio signal at all!
