The WA-CX24 is a truthful reproduction of one of the most iconic vintage stereo large-diaphragm Tube condenser microphones, built with premium components for unmatched versatility. It features a vintage-correct design and offers multiple pickup patterns and adjustable stereo widths for imaginative stereo recording setups.
Elegant highs and lively mids deliver naturalness and expression - perfect for live drums, wide acoustic guitars and spacious pianos. With 180-degree capsule rotation, it enables precise stereo imaging and supports techniques such as XY, Blumlein, mid-side or custom angles.
Each capsule also has independently assignable polar-pattern switching, allowing unique combinations such as cardioid and figure-8 for creative stereo imaging.
Internally, there are two solid copper CK12-style capsules, a hand-selected 12AY7 tube for vintage warmth and clarity and two US-made T14 transformers from TAB-Funkenwerk (AMI) for superior signal integrity.
The WA-CX24 comes with a premium Gotham GAC-9 cable, dual-pattern power supply, shockmount, custom wooden box and tweed flight case. Like all Warm Audio equipment, it is hand tested by expert engineers in Austin, TX.
