Yamaha collaborated with Rupert Neve Designs, a leading company in the audio industry, to develop a set of pickups for Pacifica Professional and Standard Plus guitars. For more than four years, Yamaha's Acoustic Design methodology and RND's decades of transformer design experience worked together, resulting in a set of Reflectone pickups that offer tight lows, present mids and sparkling highs for a modern and clear sound. Reflectone pickups are specially optimized to complement the new Pacifica guitars, including pole piece material, coil winding method, coil holder shape and more.
