At the center is a 37-key Slimkey keyboard with touch sensitivity and aftertouch that lets you play expressively on software instruments, hardware synths and modular gear. Responsive touch strips for pitch and modulation provide fluid real-time control, while built-in chord and scale modes help you stay musical and creative without interrupting your workflow.

In addition, the KeyStep 37 mk2 is a powerful tool for developing ideas. The polyphonic 64-step sequencer supports up to 8 notes per step and offers features such as rests, legato and pattern chains to build dynamic sequences and complete compositions. The integrated arpeggiator features 16 modes, from classic patterns to more experimental variations. The Mutate function lets you instantly transform patterns for surprising and innovative results.

Four freely assignable buttons give direct control over arpeggiator, sequencer, MIDI CC and CV parameters, allowing you to rely less on menus and focus more on live performance. Thanks to USB-C for MIDI and power, full MIDI DIN inputs and outputs, sync jacks, a pedal input and multiple CV/Gate outputs, the KeyStep 37 mk2 pairs easily with DAWs, drum computers, modular setups and vintage gear.
