The Swarm is no ordinary fuzz pedal. This unique analog Fuzz Harmonizer sounds like a swarm of aggressive bees coming straight at you and opens the door to a world of unprecedented, experimental sounds.

The Swarm converts your input signal into a square wave and then multiplies or divides its frequency. The result is an impressive harmonic landscape with nine different intervals spread over two octaves. By adding modulation, the Swarm can range from tightly following harmonies to a wild, unpredictable explosion of sound.

The Worker control determines the level of your original signal, which has now been transformed into a raw, buzzing fuzz. The Species switch lets you choose from nine different harmonic intervals. The Queen and Drone controls then determine the volume of the two harmonics, which always remain an octave apart.

The real magic is in the interactive Flight and Sting controls. These determine how the harmonies react and move. With Sting, you set how fast the harmonies follow your playing. If you turn this control back, the harmonies react instantly to every note as if they were "stabbing" you with every touch. Turn it further open, and the harmonies float loosely around the root note, like a lost bee dancing through the air.

The Flight control determines the character of that movement. In one position, the harmonies are constantly oscillating up and down, while in the other they glide smoothly from note to note and linger longer. With the Master control, you set the final output volume.

Although each control has a specific function, the Swarm does not allow itself to be completely captured in technical explanations. This is a pedal that invites you to experiment.
