The GX-1B features 16 highly dynamic AIRD bass amps, complemented by more than 130 effects from the extensive Boss effects library. With eight simultaneous effect blocks and a freely adjustable effect sequence, you can effortlessly build complete bass rigs for a variety of styles and songs. The integrated volume/expression pedal and built-in noise suppression keep your sound tight and controlled. Once you set up your ideal sound, assign the footswitches and volume/expression pedal to virtually any function you want, from simple on/off switching to adjusting multiple parameters simultaneously.

Quick and clear sound creation
During a performance, you don't want to get lost in complicated menus. That's why the GX-1B is designed for direct and logical operation. Adjusting presets or building a sound from scratch is quick and intuitive. The interface is based on that of the GX-100 and GX-10 and uses hexagonal effect buttons that immediately show which sound category an effect belongs to. A single tap turns an effect on or off; a longer press accesses detailed settings. The GX-1B comes with 99 playable presets and also provides space for 99 user memories for your own creations.

Gear Suite, Tone Studio and Additional Features
Gear Suite lets you quickly assemble complete amp and effect combinations. Each amp and effect type contains several factory settings that can be accessed with one dial. You can further customize these settings and store them in Gear Suite memories for immediate use. Boss Tone Studio gives you access to the Session feature, which lets you play along with YouTube videos, including tempo adjustment, A/B comparison, metronome and rhythm tracks. Within the same software, you'll also find Boss Tone Exchange, where you can download and share sounds from other users. Of course, extensive editing tools are present to tune effects in detail and organize your sounds in an organized way.
