Duesenberg Paloma, Black Sparkle

The Paloma came and conquered when it was released in 2016 and instantly became one of the most popular models of Duesenberg's arsenal. The full solid body, HSS pickup confuguration, the Deluxe Tremola...it was the missing piece in the Duesenberg collection and it just works. Apart from the fact that the comfortably contoured, offset body is just ultra-cool! It is made out of a solid piece of alder, the neck is a single maple piece and has a rosewood fingerboad. And look at that beautiful Black Sparkle finish!

The Paloma features Duesenberg's Grandvintage humbucker, Pearlito single coil and Alnico Blade single coil. HSS configurated guitars can sometimes be a bit of a hassle when it comes to balancing the output output differences of the pickup; in most cases, it's hard for the single coils to keep up with the humbucker. With the Paloma however, the output levels are evenly balanced in terms of output and the special 4 way switch that wires the middle pickup always in combination with either the neck or the bridge pickup (neck / neck+middle / middle+bridge / bridge).
