In new condition Fender Blues Junior IV
The Blues Jr. Lacquered Tweed might be considered the vintage version of the regular Blues Junior. With its lacquered tweed lining, gold/brown speaker cloth, chickenhead arrow knobs and a the 12" Jensen speaker, both the vintage voicing and also the look are all over the place. The Blues Junior is a 15 watt tube amp with one pair of EL84 tubes in the power amp and 12AX7 tubes in the preamp. Add the famous Fender reverb, flexible controls, FAT switch for mid boost and you are with the Blues Junior a simple, but perfect basic amp that will do your thing just fine in many situations. In addition, the Blues Junior is a very capable "pedal platform." It's not for nothing that this compact, handy tube amp remains unrelentingly popular!
