As a limited edition, the Fender Custom Shop brings you this Roated Pine Strat. This guitar immediately makes a great impression at first sight with its luxurious look and beautiful appearance. With a very subtle Closet Classic DLX aging (slight lacquer crackle only) it has a true Custom Shop vibe. What a fantastic guitar this is!

And that's just its looks. The sound of this LTD Roasted Pine Strat is equally impressive. It sounds creamy and round with a nice mid response. And with that sound character, this is a very musical and friendly sounding Strat; no sharp edges like some more vintage oriented Strats but just...nice!
For sure this sound comes from the mix of ingredients. The 2-piece roasted pine body is super resonant and remarkably light and this Strat weighs only 3.11 kg! The Custom Shop hand-wound Dual-Mag II Strat single-coil pickups feature different magnets for the bass and treble strings making the guitar sound so nicely balanced. And while the Roasted Quarter Sawn Maple neck has a vintage-inspired '59-style "D" profile, the rosewood fretboard with 9.5-inch radius and 21 jumbo frets are a more modern twist. With this mix of specs, the limited-edition Roasted Pine Stratocaster DLX Closet Classic from Fender Custom Shop offers a contemporary Strat experience without compromising on what made Fender's most famous electric guitar so great in the first place.

The pickups are connected to a 5-position switch with RWRP center pickup for hum-suppressing tones at the 2 and 4 positions. The Honey Blond nitro finish not only looks great, but also has a very pleasant and soft feel.
