K&M 221 a

The K&M 221A is a steel flange with which you can make your own fixed base for e.g. a table stand. This base is suitable for mounting a microphone arm, microphone pole or microphone clamp on a tabletop, furniture or fixed installation. This makes the 221A a good choice for conference rooms, presentation tables, public address systems, studios, counters and furniture of entertainers or DJs.

3/8-inch thread
The K&M 221A features a 3/8-inch thread, a common connection for microphone accessories and stand components. This allows you to easily screw a microphone arm or microphone pole onto the base. A microphone clamp can also be inserted directly if it has an appropriate connection. If your microphone clamp has a 5/8-inch connection, you usually use an adapter nipple from 5/8-inch to 3/8-inch for this purpose.

Neat cable management thanks to hollow construction
The thread of the K&M 221A is hollow and equipped with a cable grommet. This allows you to run a microphone cable neatly through the base. This ensures tight mounting without loose cables on the furniture. This is especially useful for fixed installations, conference tables and applications where the microphone setup needs to be neatly concealed.

Solid mounting with three screw holes
The base has three pre-drilled mounting holes with a diameter of 5.2 mm. This allows you to securely attach the flange to a table, furniture or other surface with three screws. The steel construction provides a solid base for DIY and installation applications. The black finish matches well with many microphone arms, stands and other stage or studio applications.
