More than twenty years later, Korg comes out with an impressive successor: the microKORG 2.

Korg's designers have stuck to the most beloved features of the original. Think of the recognizable compact design, the mini keys that play nicely, the built-in vocoder with separate microphone and the large selection dial. But in addition, the microKORG 2 has been taken to the next level in many areas. The synthesizer features a completely new and powerful sound engine, a modern 7.1 cm color display, new powerful sounds and comes with a carrying case. All this makes the microKORG 2 an inspiring synth of today - ready for the future.

Powerful tool for production and performance
Central to the microKORG 2 is a beautiful 7.1 cm IPS color screen. This bright display always gives you insight into your settings and makes editing sounds clear and intuitive - you can instantly see what you're doing. The iconic vocoder of the original microKORG has remained, of course, but has become even more powerful in this new version. For example, the microKORG 2 features an improved vocal processor with harmonizer and hard-tuning functions. In addition, a new loop recorder has been added, allowing you to easily capture ideas or build complete arrangements layer by layer. This makes the microKORG 2 not only an inspiring synth, but also a full-fledged tool for studio and live use. The built-in arpeggiator and effects section - with Modulation, Delay, Reverb and EQ - complete the picture.

Ideal synthesizer on the go
The microKORG 2 is made for musicians who are on the road a lot. The instrument is equipped with a 37-key mini-keyboard with touch-sensitive keys and features MIDI inputs and outputs. You can power it with the included AC adapter or with 6 AA batteries, allowing you to use it anywhere - from the stage to the park. All functions are conveniently placed on the front panel, giving you quick access to every parameter. Thanks to the large rotary knob and illuminated buttons, you'll choose your sounds effortlessly, even on a dark stage. The microKORG 2 has a 6.3 mm jack connection for sustain or switch pedals, and with the modern USB-C connection you can easily integrate it into your live setup or DAW-based studio.
