Byzance Dual
The Meinl Byzance Dual series builds on the character of the Byzance Extra Dry line and immediately stands out thanks to its combination of a unique look and distinctive sound. The central section is raw and unfinished, with clearly visible traces of the hand-hammered finish. The rims, on the other hand, are turned and polished to a high gloss. This contrasting finish is also reflected in the sound: low, dry, and earthy on the initial strike, followed by a bright and explosive burst. The Byzance Dual cymbals are manufactured in Turkey from B20 bronze and hand-hammered. The center remains untreated, while only the edges are finely turned and given a brilliant high-gloss finish.
