Midi Solutions MultiVoltage T8

With the MIDI Solutions MultiVoltage T8, you can split a single MIDI signal across eight separate MIDI outputs. This allows you to control up to eight recipients simultaneously from a single keyboard, sequencer, MIDI interface, or other MIDI device. Examples include synthesizers, drum machines, effects processors, and other equipment with a MIDI input. All MIDI messages received via the MIDI In are sent directly to the eight MIDI Thru outputs. The active electronics correct timing distortions in incoming data bits. As a result, all connected devices receive a correct and stable MIDI signal, even when the T8 is placed further down a MIDI chain.

Power via MIDI
The MultiVoltage T8 draws its power directly from the connected MIDI output. This eliminates the need for batteries or a separate power adapter. The device is compatible with MIDI equipment conforming to both the 5V and 3.3V MIDI specifications. This makes the T8 suitable for use with both older and modern MIDI equipment.

MIDI Status Indicator The MIDI indicator lights up as soon as the transmitting device is turned on and flashes when MIDI data is received. The indicator also alerts you when the available power supply voltage is too low to deliver the standard MIDI current of 5 mA. This allows you to immediately check the status of the signal and the power supply.

Suitable for 19-inch racks
The T8 is housed in a 19-inch rack enclosure that is 1U high. With a width of 48.3 cm, it fits into a standard rack, flight case, or studio cabinet. Its eight outputs make it suitable for studios, keyboard rigs, MIDI racks, and live setups where multiple devices are controlled from a single MIDI source.
