Monster MA-SS12

The Monster MA-SS12 Prolink Acoustic is a 3.6-meter instrument cable for acoustic guitarists who want to transfer their amplified sound as naturally as possible. Monster uses a Time Correct multigauge wire network in this cable. This construction works with multiple wire segments for different frequency ranges. As a result, high and low frequencies are accurately transmitted and the sound of your acoustic guitar remains open, full and well balanced.

Straight jack plugs with gold-plated contacts
The MA-SS12 features two straight 6.35 mm TS jack plugs with 24-karat gold-plated contacts. These contacts ensure good signal transmission and are more resistant to corrosion. The straight plugs are suitable for many guitars, basses, DI boxes, pedals, amplifiers and interfaces with standard 6.35 mm instrument jacks.

Shielding against hum and background noise
The cable has a 95% braided copper shield that helps reduce hum and interference. In addition, Monster uses a carbon-infused polymer layer to reduce handling noise and vibration noise. This is nice on stage, in the studio and when used with acoustic instruments, where unwanted background noise can be quickly audible.

MicroFiber and PEX insulation
The internal cable assembly is protected with MicroFiber, PEX and carbon-infused dielectric materials. These layers help reduce magnetic influences and support stable signal transmission. As a result, transients, stop and harmonic details are better preserved.

Duraflex outer jacket and strain relief
The Duraflex outer jacket protects the cable during daily use and keeps it pleasantly manageable. The connectors feature collet strain relief, providing better support for the transition between plug and cable. This helps when connecting, unplugging, coiling and carrying to gigs or rehearsals.
