The Novation FLkey 2 49 is for FL Studio producers who want more playing feel and more mix control. With 49 full-size semi-weighted keys, 16 RGB pads with polyphonic aftertouch, eight encoders and nine faders, you control your project in a way that feels more direct than working with just mouse and keyboard.

This model is of interest to producers, keyboardists and live performers who want to play melodies, chords and arrangements more broadly. The FLkey 2 49 links directly to FL Studio, but also works with external MIDI devices, NKS software and other DAWs via Mackie HUI.

Deep FL Studio integration

The controller is made for operating FL Studio. You work with the Channel Rack, Mixer, Step Sequencer, Patterns, transport functions and plug-ins without reaching for the screen each time. This allows you to record, adjust and work through your track faster.

Semi-weighted keys and split/layer

The 49 full-size semi-weighted keys give you more control over chords, melodies and bass lines. Split and layer divide the keyboard into two zones or overlay two instruments. For example, play a bass part on the left and a lead or pad on the right.

Pads with polyphonic aftertouch

The 16 RGB pads are suitable for step sequencing, fingerdrumming and sample triggering. Polyphonic aftertouch makes it possible to add extra expression per pad. This works nicely with instruments and plug-ins such as FPC, SliceX and Fruity Slicer.

Mixing with faders and encoders

In addition to the eight endless encoders, this model has nine faders with fader buttons. With these you control volumes, filters, effects and other parameters from FL Studio. The OLED screen immediately shows what you are controlling.

Creative features and software bundle

Scale Mode, Chord Map, Fixed Chord Mode and the arpeggiator help you work out ideas faster. With that you get 6 months of FL Studio Producer Edition, Novation Play, Melodics and a suite of instruments and effects from GForce, Klevgrand, Orchestral Tools, Native Instruments and others.
