Rode SmartLAV+

The SmartLAV+ is an improvement on the SmartLAV where the quality of the audio has been improved. An important improvement is in the capsule. It is more sensitive and has a lower inherent noise (27dBA). The SmartLAV+ is also equipped with a Kevlar® reinforced cable, which ensures that it can never break or stretch under normal conditions.

For iOS platforms, Røde offers the Røde REC app, which allows users to make professional recordings. These can then be exported straight to Dropbox or SoundCloud. The Røde REC app has also received an update. It has an improved interface and has become more stable. A free version, the Røde REC LE, is also available on the Røde website.

The SmartLAV+ comes complete with windshield, clip and compact storage case.
