The cardioid directional characteristic provides some extra gain-before-feedback and effectively isolates ambient noise and other unwanted sources. The frequency response is carefully shaped with a distinct presence peak in the speech region, while the bass is reduced in a controlled manner. This compensates for the proximity effect that can occur with cardioid microphones. Thus, the voice remains clear and direct, even in noisy environments.

The elastic CROAKIES headband provides a secure and comfortable fit, while swivel bracket and gooseneck are precisely adjustable for any head shape. Includes foam windshield and clothing clip for practical use on any stage or in any studio.
