The Roland BT-1 is designed for acoustic drummers who want to add electronic sounds to their arsenal. With the BT-1, you expand the number of triggers on your drum kit without adding more pads. You can use the BT-1 as a remote control for the additional functions of a V-Drums module and control your sounds conveniently.
The affordable solution for those who want to expand their acoustic drum kit with an electronic sound arsenal. Thanks to its round shape, the BT-1 can be installed on the side of a V-Drums V-Pad or an acoustic drum and easily accessed without getting in the way of your other drums. Although most drummers use the BT-1 for controlling the sounds in a V-Drums module or will use an SPD series percussion pad, it can also be used for starting/stopping accompaniments, loops, and other rhythms.
