The frame has been strengthened and the foot plate has been widened. The new beaters provide a fatter sound, without the pedal feels slower. Nice and fat and nice and fast: the best of both worlds.
In this 'Power Glide' model, the cam is not completely even, which makes it easier to create volume. If you want a more even action: choose the 'Rolling Glide' version.
