The recorder features 512 GB of built-in SDXC storage capacity, perfect for extended recording sessions outside the studio.

The 2-inch LCD display, 3.5mm microphone input, built-in timecode generator and housing made of lightweight fiberglass make the FR-AV2 a powerful mobile recorder. Power is supplied via three AA batteries or USB bus power, ensuring effortless integration into virtually any workspace or camera configuration.

Thanks to the built-in 5.08 cm LCD screen, you always keep an overview of your recordings, so you can see exactly what you hear.

Built-in timecode generator: for tight sync
For video production, reliable timecode is essential to keep your workflow tight, efficient and professional. For this, the Tascam FR-AV2 has everything on board as standard. Via the 3.5mm input and output, you easily connect it to DSLR cameras, with full Jam-Sync support if you're working with existing external timecode devices. With the optional AK-BT2 Bluetooth adapter (not included), you also enable wireless sync in conjunction with Atomos UltraSync BLUE.
