The CK88, more for less

Yamaha has really hit the nail on the head with the CK88! A very versatile instrument at an affordable price. And even though it is thus a more affordable version of say a CP88 and/or YC88, you can't tell at first glance. It is a very comprehensive instrument that feels and sounds like true high-end.

The CK88

We at Klundert Music would really describe the CK88 as the little brother of the CP88 and YC88. The CK88 brings back some of the most coveted features of these two big brothers in a slightly smaller package. For example, the CK88 has real physical drawbars, vibrato/chorus and percussion switch to control the various organ samples. Additionally, for the entire instrument, there are filters, eg, drive, compression and a plethora of other effects right under your fingers. And all this can be simply pre-programmed and stored under the quickly accessible preset buttons below the LED screen. Round out a very comprehensive stage piano.

In addition to all these typical stage piano features, the CK88 has something else special. Whereas many other stage pianos can only be listened to over external speaker or headphones, the CK88 has two internal speakers to quickly play or work out something on the go. And to make things even crazier, this piano can even be used with AA batteries.
