Yamaha CP73

The CP73 is a professional stage piano with 73 keys. The CP73 plays great, thanks to the Natural Wood Graded Hammer keyboard. The special weight distribution and three sensors per key give you the playing feeling of an acoustic grand piano.

You can also play with the sounds of the three different grand pianos, but also other acoustic pianos, electric pianos, organs and string and synth sounds. In total there are 57 sounds, divided over 3 sections: piano, keyboards and subs. In the piano section you have buttons for setting split points, octave, damper resonance, volume of individual sounds and depth, among others. The electronic piano section has knobs for effects like drive, pan, tremolo and wah. But also check out the different phaser-, chorus- and flanger effects!

The sub-section contains the sounds of organs, strings and synthesizers. Again, there are buttons to set various effects. There is a fourth segment (effects) with controls for delay and reverb, supplemented with a master EQ with low-mid and high. The pitch bend and modulation can be controlled with two joysticks on the left top.

Not only the sounds and effects, but also the connection possibilities are for professional use. On the back panel are balanced XLR outputs, but also standard jack line outputs. Via the line inputs you can connect external audio and mix it with that of the CP73. Furthermore you can connect 2 pedals and 2 footswitches, of which you can assign the function and also store them in presets

The USB-to-host connection enables an audio or MIDI connection with a computer, iPad or iPhone. You can also save data to a USB stick. Finally, on the back you'll find the connections for a (separately available) music stand / lectern.
