AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X

The AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X is a compact DJ multi-player designed for DJs, bars, smaller clubs, mobile setups, and home users who want to work with standalone players without sacrificing too much space. This player brings much of the control and workflow of the larger CDJ models to a smaller form factor. As a result, the CDJ-1500X fits more easily into narrow DJ booths, alongside turntables, mixers, or other DJ equipment.

10.1-inch touchscreen with clear track display
At the center is the 10.1-inchcapacitive touchscreen, the same screen size as on the CDJ-3000X. Using this display, you can quickly browse your music collection, view waveforms, and see key track information clearly on screen. The browse view displays up to 15 tracks at once and shows waveform previews, allowing you to quickly see how a track is structured. In the main view, you can see vocal positions, BPM changes, and phrase structures, among other things. This makes it easier to time tracks accurately and build your set with precision.

Playlist Edit and excellent readability in any booth
Thanks to Playlist Edit, you can reorder tracks directly on the CDJ-1500X within your playlists. You don’t need to go back to your laptop or re-export to a USB drive to do this. You can also choose between a dark and light display mode, ensuring the screen remains easy to read in a dark club, a well-lit room, or during a daytime outdoor set.

Wi-Fi, Cloud Library, and Streaming Services
With built-in Wi-Fi, the AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X offers direct access to your cloud library andstreaming services. Via rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, you can use your own cloud collection with a compatible rekordbox subscription. In addition, the player supports StreamingDirectPlay for services such as Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, and Tidal. Streaming services require a separate subscription and may vary by country or region.

NFC Login via rekordbox
A handy feature isNFC login via rekordbox for iOS and Android. By holding your smartphone up to the NFC chip on the CDJ-1500X, you can quickly load your personal settings and playlists. Combined with cloud connectivity, this means that in many situations, you can access your own music and settings using just your smartphone, without necessarily needing a USB drive.

CoBeat for audience interaction
The CDJ-1500X is also the first AlphaTheta multi-player to support CoBeat. With this optional service, the audience can submit song requests via a QR code or vote on tracks from a catalog you’ve prepared in advance. The requests appear on the player’s screen, so you can incorporate them into your set when it makes musical sense. The audience can also send emoji reactions, which appear on your smartphone. This gives you a better sense of the energy on the dance floor, while you retain full control over the set. CoBeat can be turned on or off at any time.

’sDirect Performance Controls For hands-on control, the CDJ-1500X is equipped with 8 Hot Cue buttons, a Beat Loop button, Beat Sync, Beat Jump, and a mid-size jog wheel with a rotation indicator and non-slip surface. The controls are laid out clearly, allowing you to quickly access the most important functions. The matte black finish gives it a sleek look that fits well into various DJ setups.

USB Ports and Customizable Lighting
On the front panel is an illuminated bay with 2 USB ports: 1x USB-C and 1x USB-A. This allows you to easily connect USB drives while keeping them neatly out of the way. The LED lighting is adjustable to 12 colors. Thanks to screw holes on the sides, you can attach optional panels to further customize the player’s appearance.
