Art DUALZDirect

The ART DUALZDirect is the dual version of the well-known ART Zdirect. This professional passive DI box is designed to effortlessly connect instrument, line or speaker level signals to a mixer or other balanced input, thanks to high-quality audio isolation transformers. The two high-impedance 6.35 mm jack (1/4") inputs are converted to a balanced, low-ohm signal via the built-in transformers. This makes the DUALZDirect ideal for applications where interference-free and balanced signal transmission is desired, even on long cable runs or in environments with high levels of electrical interference. With its extremely flat and wide frequency response and ability to handle high signal levels, the DUALZDirect delivers neutral, transparent sound reproduction. Suitable for all kinds of signal sources, from keyboards to amplified instruments, and a reliable choice for both live and studio environments.

The ART DUALZDirect is a passive 2-channel DI box that goes beyond the standard features of traditional models. Thanks to a switchable lowpass filter, this DI box offers optimal protection against interference in the high-frequency spectrum. The integrated Bessel filter is located outside the audible range and prevents radio-frequency interference from entering the audio system. Ideal when used with a computer DAW: the filter effectively suppresses digital noise and artifacts coming from computers, resulting in a cleaner and interference-free signal towards your monitors.

The built-in Input Attenuator switches allow you to connect a wide range of signal levels. The Input Thru output lets you easily loop the original signal to other equipment. The Ground Lift switch helps prevent hum and ground loops by interrupting the ground connection between input and output where necessary.

Unique to the DUALZDirect is the Phase Inversion switch, which allows you to instantly reverse the polarity of the signal at the source. This is particularly useful when combining a direct signal with a microphone signal in the same mix, so phase problems can be quickly resolved.

The sturdy, black anodized aluminum housing is compact and built to provide years of reliable performance - whether in live situations, fixed installations, DJ sets or PA applications. Thanks to its passive design, the DUALZDirect is completely independent of power supply, making installation and use even easier.
