Austrian Audio OC-S10

Austrian Audio has a long and rich history of designing and building some of the most iconic microphones out in the industry, and the OC-S10 is a fantastic addition to this history.

Of course, the OC-S10 incorporates Austrian Audio's renowned CKR12 Capsule, but this time with a completely redesigned, all-analog, signal path for unprecedented clarity and extremely low noise floor. The CKR12 capsule is handmade in Vienna and only the best are chosen for use. This makes Austrian Audio label this mic as a "reference mic" perfect for vocals and solo instruments.

The OC-S10 again has the very fat feature that both diaphragms can be recorded separately. Where with the OC818 we have a mini XLR output on the back, the OC-S10 comes with two full sized XLR connectors to record and edit the full audio image in post with the greatest of ease. Because of course, we can use the Polar Designer and Stereo Creator plugins in post to edit these two signals.
