Cranborne Audio N22

N22 is Cranborne Audio's solution for flexible, clean and cost-effective audio distribution. Simply put, N22 replaces 4 balanced XLR cables with one shielded Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 7 cable to transport 4 channels of analog audio over distances up to 100 meters.

Simpler cable management

Connect two N22s together with a single shielded Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 7 cable and you can pass 4 channels of balanced, analog audio (including 48V phantom power) between two remote locations. Use the N22 in the studio to connect the live room to your audio interface's I/O, in a live setup to connect your mixing board to your power amps, or even at home to connect your surround speakers to your home theater system.

Advanced connectivity with 500R8 and 500ADAT interfaces

If your studio is already built around a Cranborne Audio interface such as a 500R8 or 500ADAT, you can connect multiple N22s to their C.A.S.T. Input jacks and then receive balanced input sources connected to the N22's combo inputs directly to the audio interface's inputs, ready for processing and recording. The same cat 5 C.A.S.T. connection also sends a stereo monitor mix generated by the 500R8/500ADAT back through the C.A.S.T. connection and directly to the N22's balanced XLR and 1/4" Jack outputs for monitoring or reamping.
