Tascam MM-4D-IN-X

The Tascam MM-4D/IN converts four microphone or line inputs to four Dante outputs. In addition, the unit also supports four Dante inputs, so virtually any audio source can be used within an existing Dante network.

The analog inputs are available with Euroblock connectors (MM-4D/IN-E) or XLR connectors (MM-4D/IN-X), making the model suitable for a variety of applications. This is the version with XLR connectors.

A key advantage is the built-in DSP processor. This provides not only mix and EQ functions, but also dynamic processing, automatic level control, auto-ducking, routing and noise reduction. This allows even small systems to function fully without additional signal processors or mixers. From microphone input to output to active speakers or recording equipment, the Dante Compact Processor Series lets you build a complete small-scale system.

Remote control is possible via two free software applications for Mac, Windows, iOS and Android: Tascam DCP Connect for configuration and Tascam EZ Connect for end users. The MM-4D/IN can additionally mute inputs via GPI.

All models can be powered via PoE or with an (optional) power adapter. When placing two units side by side in a rack, it is possible to power both units with one adapter by using power daisy-chaining.
