D'Addario XTA-PB acoustic strings are made from D'Addario's popular phosphor bronze strings. Each string is individually treated with an XT treatment which greatly extends its life while maintaining the natural sound and feel of uncoated strings.
This set is ideal for guitarists looking for a bit more volume in the low end and slightly firmer high strings.
X Treatment for Life Extension.
The core of the wound strings is made of High Carbon, all the strings in the set have had an "X Treatment" treatment. They are up to 42% stronger than other strings. They also stay 131% better in tune thanks to the new Fusion Twist technique. A revolutionary new string suitable for all types of acoustic guitars.
Combined with the bronze XT treated winding, each XT string set has an incomparable tone compared to other coated guitar strings and lasts up to 4x longer
