The Excel DC is D'angelico's top-of-the-line double cut, center block / semi-hollowbody. In other words; an ES type following the classic recipe, but very well done and especially at this price point! The versatility of these guitars keeps surprising us. The DC lays down a solid foundation of guitar sound in any situation that is just different from all other traditional and iconic guitar models.
The hollow body with centre block is made of laminated maple with a beautiful flamed maple outer layer. The maple set neck has a rosewood
