The Premier DC is D'angelico's entry-level double cut, center block / semi-hollowbody. Or in other words; an ES 339-type type following a classic recipe, but with its own twist and above all very well done.
The Premier series is really an awesome introduction (understatement) to such guitars whose versatility never ceases to amaze us. And that certainly applies to the Premier DC as well, with which you can handle basically any genre without feeling like "neither meat nor fish." On the contrary; with this DC you lay a very solid foundation of guitar sound in every situation that is actually just different from all other traditional and iconic guitar models. The Premier series are thus also very suitable for the seasoned guitarist who already has a nice collection, but simply wants a "flavor" to it.
