The Premier DC is D'Angelico's entry-level double-cut, center-block / semi-hollowbody guitar. In other words: an ES-339-style guitar built according to the classic formula, but with its own twist—and, above all, very well made.
The Premier series is truly an amazing introduction (understatement) to this type of guitar, whose versatility never ceases to amaze us. And that certainly applies to the Premier DC as well, which lets you tackle virtually any genre without feeling like it’s “neither fish nor fowl.” On the contrary: with this DC, you lay a very solid foundation of guitar tone in any situation—one that’s actually just a little different from all other traditional and iconic guitar models.
