Inspired by John D'Angelico's single-cutaway "Excel" model first introduced in 1947, the Premier EXL-1 offers a woody, articulate tone ideal for both rhythm and lead playing. With a redesigned C-shape neck shape, the EXL-1 promises the perfect balance of comfort and form.
A single floating mini-humbucker highlights the EXL-1’s naturally sweet mid-range and warm acoustic edge. Offering signature D’Angelico details such as its Stairstep tailpiece and iconic traditional headstock, the Premier EXL-1 offers remarkable sustain and rich harmonic overtones.
