Inspired by John D'Angelico's single-cutaway "Excel" model first introduced in 1947, the Excel EXL-1 offers a woodsy, articulate tone ideal for both rhythm and lead playing. With a redesigned C-shape neck shape, the EXL-1 promises the perfect balance of comfort and form. The USA Seymour Duncan 59 Humbucker on the new Dark Iced Tea finish offers a woodsy, focused tone. The guitar features Grover hardware, an ebony fretboard and Jescar fret wire.
