The Premier DC is D'angelico's entry-level double cut, center block / semi-hollowbody. Or in other words; an ES 339-type type following a classic recipe, but with its own twist and above all very well done.
The Premier series is really an awesome introduction (understatement) to such guitars whose versatility never ceases to amaze us. And that certainly also applies to the Premier DC, with which you can handle basically any genre without getting the feeling of "neither meat / nor fish". On the contrary; with this DC you lay a very solid foundation of guitar sound in every situation that is actually just different from all other traditional and iconic guitar models. The Premier series are thus also very suitable for the seasoned guitarist who already has a nice collection, but simply wants a "flavor" to it.

Recently, the Premier Hollowbody Series received a significant upgrade. For example, this Premier comes standard with D'Angelico humbuckers. Notable details include ebony potentiometer knobs and a walnut fingerboard. The classic black finish is simply beautiful. In addition, you will find the signature Stairstep tuners on this Premier.
