D'angelico Deluxe SS Satin Trans Wine

D'angelico guitars are inspiring in every way. First of all, they are beautiful to look at, but aside from all that outward show, D'angelico more than lives up to all expectations in terms of sound and quality!
The New York guitar maker has a rich history and is famous for their iconic jazz boxes. However, D'angelico's current collection also offers a wide range of solidbodies and semi-hollowbodies.

The Deluxe SS is D'angelico's own interpretation of the well-known center-block hollowbody recipe; with a 15" wide single cut body and its refined look, the SS exudes class and style. Its body is more compact than that of a traditional ES335, but again a bit larger than that of an ES339.

For 2023, there is this stunning Deluxe variant of the SS whose beautiful matte red finish immediately catches the eye; what a beauty! This Deluxe has a laminated body, has mahogany sides and back and a mahogany top. The maple set neck features an rosewood fingerboard with 12" radius. The back of the headstock has a beautiful black Stinger style finish. And then the gold hardware; it pairs beautifully with the matte wine red color. The luxurious Stairstep tailpiece matches the style of this guitar perfectly. The tuners are Grover Super Rotomatic locking tuners and the guitar has a scale of 25". To finish it off, a set of Seymour Duncan STK P-90 pickups are fitted for delicious creamy vintage tones.
