Novation Circuit Rhythm

The Novation Circuit Rhythm is a powerful standalone sampler that lets you easily create music without a computer or DAW. This groovebox is designed for producers who want to unleash their creativity wherever you are. Unlike the Circuit Tracks, the Circuit Rhythm is completely focused on sample-based production. You get access to eight tracks on which you can load your own samples, loops and one-shots.

With built-in effects such as rhythm and harmony edits, modulation, reverb and delay, edit your sound in detail. The built-in sequencer supports pattern chains up to 256 steps, providing extensive creative freedom. Thanks to the 4 x 8 matrix of backlit RGB pads, programming and live playing is intuitive and inspiring. The ten physical rotary knobs give you direct control over all important parameters. Thanks to the built-in lithium-ion battery, you can take the Circuit Rhythm anywhere, without relying on mains power.

Creative sampling
The Circuit Rhythm is designed for ease of use and creativity. This sampler offers extensive possibilities to record, edit and customize audio. You can record samples directly via the stereo input or load files from a microSD card. Then edit them in detail with the built-in Grid FX. Effects such as beat repeat, reverser, gater, auto-filter, sample-rate reducer, bit crusher, phaser and vinyl simulation give your sound instant character and texture. You can slice, modify and shape samples into a completely new sound.

8 tracks and direct sequencing for complete creative control
The power of the Circuit Rhythm goes beyond sampling alone. With eight pattern tracks, you can build complex arrangements and chain together up to eight patterns of 32 steps each - good for a total of 256 steps per track. That offers more than enough room for dynamic and varied compositions. The sequencing works quickly and intuitively, with three playback modes: reverse, ping-pong and random. Want even more variety? Then use the unique mutate function to automatically vary your patterns and get surprising results. The 4 x 8 pad matrix allows you to switch instantly between patterns during a live performance without getting out of your flow.

Refine your samples with built-in effects
The built-in effects allow you to give your tracks the right finishing touch. The Circuit Rhythm features eight different types of reverb and sixteen delay presets, which you select directly via the pad matrix. Whether you choose a subtle reverb or a spatial effect with a lot of depth - the possibilities are extensive. The delay presets are tempo-synchronized and offer different rhythmic layouts, such as triplets and spiked notes, including stereo ping-pong effects. In addition, you can automate the amount of reverb and delay per step. This allows you to add extra impact or transition effects to your production at exactly the right time.

Battery operated - produce anywhere you want
While producing in the studio is great, sometimes you just want to be in a different environment. The Circuit Rhythm is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that lasts up to 4 hours. This makes it just as easy to work in the park, a coffee shop or on the go. Thanks to its compact size and built-in battery, the Circuit Rhythm is ideal for mobile sessions, impromptu jams and live performances on location.

Novation Components hub
Through the free online and standalone Components hub, you can get even more out of your Circuit Rhythm. This user-friendly environment provides an easy way to perform firmware updates and keep your device up-to-date. In addition, in Components you can create, manage and download your own sample packs. These can then be loaded into your Circuit Rhythm via the microSD card. Thanks to the clear interface, you manage your sample library effortlessly and work quickly and organized.
